A 200th Post RAK

Like I said in my last post - that was my 200th post - wow, crazy really. Anyhow, I think a RAK is in order.

This is what I'm going to give away - NEW Lusi Austin Chipboard Design from Buzz & Bloom called "Totally Too Tweet" - I think they are adorable!

So, if you would like to be in the running for these cute little birds, please leave a comment on this post. Australian Residents only please. I will leave this open until Monday, and will randomly draw a winner then. Remember, you gotta be in it to win it!

If you are totally in love with these, then come over to Kiti Q and check out these along with the rest of Lusi's new chipboard designs and a couple of other funky designs, which just arrived today. Very cool.

The new Scenic Route chipboard shapes, mini albums and rub-ons are also in store now too...lots of fun.

Have a great week!

Launceston Love

Wow - what a weekend! Roh and I got back from Launceston this afternoon, after four fabulous days there. Lots of eating (the food in Tassie is divine!), hanging out with long-time buddies Dani and Nick, shopping and sight-seeing. Launceston is a beautiful place and we are already hoping to plan another trip back, with the kids, in the warmer months. Here's a quick photo share...

This is where we stayed - Trevallyn House Cottage in Riverside - only 5 minutes outside of Launceston. It is a fully self-contained cottage, all recently renovated and just fantastic. And the owners, Janie and Brett, are so lovely and make THE YUMMIEST breakfasts! And the cottage can actually sleep 4, so we've got it on our 'must come back' list...really wonderful! Oh, and the view from our front step - stunning!

Here's a quick snapshot of the picturesque "Ninth Island" vineyard and view from there. We had lunch at the restaurant here, where the acclaimed chef Daniel Alps cooks, and again, SO YUMMY!

Here is one of my oldest and dearest friends, Dani, and me. I'm just loving hats this winter!

My darling Roh and me - self-taken piccie. We just celebrated ten years together - just crazy - can't believe a decade has gone by so quickly.

And here is the view from the First Basin at the Cataract Gorge. Such a beautiful place. I find it really hard to do it justice via photos, but it is just gorgeous. And there are peacocks just wandering around - very cool!

And lastly...sorry...I know I'm gushing a bit about Launceston but I just LOVE Tassie so much....this is the view from Brady's Lookout. This is the Tamar River & Valley - beautiful!

As you can see, I LOVED it! I did miss the kids, and must admit we kept going places and doing the whole "the kids would love this" thing quite often, but it was just priceless having some quality time with Roh, especially as life is just so busy that it feels like we quite often miss each other in our everyday.

Anyway, that is a quick wrap up of my weekend. I just noticed when logging into here, that this is my 200th post, so I think that is worth a giveaway. Will come back tomorrow with something to offer.

Night xx

A Quick Layout Share

I did this layout a couple of weeks ago but just forgot to scan it. It's for my sister Hayley's album, that I do pages for whenever I get a chance. Had fun creating this one, while watching a movie at Dan's place. Love creating with no agenda!

Two more sleeps til Tassie - woo hoo!

Tagged - I'm it!

The lovely Dannii from Scrapniques has tagged me, so here are the guidelines :

- Link the person who tagged you (see sidebar for Dannii's blog - sorry, I'm hopeless at HTML)
- Mention the rules on your blog
- Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours
- Tag 6 fellow bloggers

Now for my unspectacular quirks...hmm...let's see...

1. I LOVE dance movies - hip hop, ballet, jazz, ballroom - I just love watching people dance, and the movies about that and I wish that I could dance like a lot of wishful thinking. Just to mention a few that I really like : "Step Up", "Centre Stage" and "Save the Last Dance"

2. My mum and I share quite a few personality quirks (actually, it's more like I've picked up some quirks of mums), which amuses my sisters and Dad to no end because we haven't lived together, or even near each other now for about ten years, but even still I say & do things that are very "mum" things to do.

3. Indecision frustrates me.

4. I gesture when I'm on the phone.

5. I love playing word games - Scrabble, Scattergories, Pictionary, Taboo but really don't like Charades.

6. I don't like sleeping with the bedroom door open - I feel too exposed to possible intruders...paranoid, I know.

Ok, now I think quite a few people I know have already done this, but I'll name six and if you haven't done it, please do if you feel like it - Sylvia, Danielle, Teresa, Hayley, Bec Schulz and Tam.

Onto some other things....

Love Elsie Forrest arrived in store earlier in the week..and what can I say..hmm, very nice :-)

Danielle has put up the sneak peek image of the next Q Tea kit, and it is just gorgeous. I'd be quick this month, if you want one, cos these are going to run out the door. It's called "Frankly My Deer" and it is very cool.

Only 1 week until Roh and I head off to Tassie for a weekend of gourmet food, wine, old friends and sleep-ins. Woo Hoo!

Not much else to share. I will be scrapping all weekend with deadlines due Monday, but all secret squirrel stuff. I think Scraplounge is having a cybercrop this weekend, so if I have any spare scrappy minutes, I might give one of the challenges a go. Why not pop in?

Take care x

Unicorn - so cute!

The kids went to a party today - lots of colour, sugar, noise and craziness. A friend of ours was doing face-painting, and here is Lana with her pick of design...isn't it cute? I actually forgot my camera, as did Dan, so this was taken when we got home. Love the unicorn though :-)

On It's Way - Love Elsie Forrest

I got the confirmation early yesterday that Kiti Q's order of Love Elsie Forrest is now on it's way. Lots of outdoorsy goodness. Here are some peeks :
