Looking Forrward to...

Receiving this - The Making Memories Slice in PINK! How cute ;-) My dear friend Cass, over at The Crafty Cat Classroom is selling them (I think they are arriving today from the states) and I just couldn't resist. I think she may even have a couple left, if you want one too :-) Going to have some fun, fun with this little gadget! Seeing Lisa Mitchell perform - take 2 for me and Dan. She was scheduled to play at Ruby's last week, but due to a huge power-out, the show was cancelled. Her new show at Ruby's is on Wednesday night - yay! Am really glad it is school holidays - I may even get a little sleep in. Should be a great gig though. Lisa's new album is fab :-)

Will venture back to my blog a little sooner than my last break (how slack was I?? lol) with photos of the house which is coming along nicely, and also some scrapbook layouts....yes, you read right - 4 to be exact and all completed yesterday - I think that's a record for me :-P
Have a great Friday!

It's starting to look like a house :-P

Architraves and doors went up over the last two days, so it's really starting to feel more like a house, and less a construction site....although there is still dust EVERYWHERE!! It's the price you pay for living through this.

Anyhow, here is a close up view of the kitchen area (overhead cupboards still to go up on left wall). Doors won't be put on until the painting is done.

Another kitchen shot, but this one taken from further away in the living area. The new little wall has now been built. We needed to have this here for support. I quite like it though.

And the kitchen again, but viewed from our front door.

Our living room window looking all spiffy with the architraves on. Can't wait til the cornice goes up over the weekend - it will feel so much more finished.
The stairs are finally in. We had a small dilemma, where the original stairs we got were wrong - too short so definitely a problem. The guys at the stair place were great, as it was their mistake, but they fixed it and delivered the correct stairs before 8am on Monday morning. We think we are going to paint the stairs for something a little funky and fun.

And Roh has started tiling the family bathroom. Love these HUGE tiles! The blue on the floor and wall is actually waterproofing agent - it's a really pretty colour ...he he

So that's us for the moment. Another full on weekend ahead with tiling and cornice, and maybe even installing my new kitchen sink - if we get it before then (silly woman at Abey warehouse won't release the sink to Reece, for us, because they are waiting on the glass cutting board - crazy!! It's doing our head in a bit - I just want a sink - the bathroom sink really isn't doing the job..lol)
Will update again next week - hopefully with some rumpus room pics as well as tiled bathrooms..we'll see :-P

Two New Photos

On the weekend, we had our District Convention at Rod Laver Arena. I forgot my camera all three days, but trusty Dan had hers with her, and today edited these two photos for me - I'm loving this one of my hubby...
And a family shot - I don't think we've got a recent photo of the four of us, so I'm really happy with this too..

Ingram Family Photo Shoot

On Sunday, I organised for all Roh's side of the family to catch up at Brighton Beach for a photo shoot with my lovely and talented sister Danielle. I really wanted to get some photos of the grandkids/cousins together for a pressie for Roh's parents anniversary (dont worry - they don't read my blog! :-P) as well as an up-to-date pic of Roh and his 4 brothers. So far, Dan has emailed me about 15 photos, and as usual, they are fantastic. Here are a few favs...

Best Buds - A Layout

Here's my take on the 2nd August sketch over at the Scrapability blog. Haven't had much time to scrap lately but this one came together quite quickly, and please excuse the photo - didn't realise it wasn't in focus until now, but you get the idea anyhow :-P
