So I've been pretty slack on the blogging front. Living a nomadic life is interesting, and my priorities are all over the place but there is an end in sight - yay! But with this nomadic life and everything else that is going on, I've had only scattered thoughts about blogging. So this will be my 'scattered thoughts' blog post...he he...
First up, a couple of layouts from my Passion for Fashion 2 entries, over at Scrap Boutique. This one was inspired by the 1900's, and had to use a Shakespeare quote..
This next one is inspired by 1970's disco era. The bam pop pp reminded me of the dance floor...
Love this wallpaper from
Ferm Living. I'm thinking for the study main wall. Just have to wait for some walls first :-P
How cute is this mod flowers wall decal from etsy shop
Michelle Christina?
And how can I resist this one with two Star Wars mad boys in my house - from etsy shop
BombgrafxOk, so a few other random things...
I'm trying my hand at knitting again. Have remembered how to cast on (woo hoo!) and have nearly finished a scarf for Alannah in a few shades of pink. So now I'll just have to remember how to cast off..lol..tricky. The scarf is just a warm up though - I've bought wool for a throw rug...yup, big project, but I love how cosy they are, so that's my next knitting exercise. It's apparently a beginner's pattern but we'll see.
Alannah finishes her first term of school this week. She has settled in well but is looking forward to a holiday too.
We are off to S.A next week for some quality time with Mum, Dad, Hayley, Caden and other family members. Should be great fun!
Have a layout in this month's Scrapbooking Memories, and have a few layouts in the next issue of Scrapbooking Memories too.
Roh and I are trying to finalise external colours for our place. We're getting a colorbond 'ironstone' roof which is pretty set but just the other two colours for the weatherboards & the window/door frames. I think we're nearly there. Will share when finalised :-)
Went to Ikea on Friday with my friend Jude. Was very restrained and only bought a few things. One thing I absolutely love is my new clock - it is huge! and so fantastic, I just had to get it. It's called 'Bravur' and has a diameter of 57cm. I know exactly what wall I want it on too..yay!
Ok, well I think that's about it for now. Lots of thoughts - not in any sensible order. Thanks for stopping by.
Stay safe xx
