One Down :-)

Here's one of the layouts I created while on holiday. This one fits in with Danielle's challenge over at Scrap Therapy. And these photos were so new but inspiring to me, that I couldn't wait to scrap them!


I had some fun playing with LOTS of Making Memories products, mainly from the Funky Vintage and Noteworthy ranges. Love how the lime and teal looks together - very cool!

Will post the other two tomorrow. I'm off now to a BBQ at Dan's place. Have a fantastic evening!

Hey Sugar....

Just got home last night from a week in beautiful Mornington. We had a great time, and I got quite a bit of scrapping done, well, 3 layouts, anyhow, which is a lot for me in one week. Will be back later to share those.

A quick update on what's new at Kiti Q. Last night I was busily uploading the new Cosmo Cricket range called "Hey Sugar" - I love the funky colours and the fantastic designs. Here are a couple of the designs :
Also new in are some fantastic American Crafts Foam Thickers in the Daiquiri font in black, white, green and pink. Add to that the very affordable Kaisercraft Rhinestones and Pearls, in a variety of colour, and you'll find yourself itching to create something :-) I know I am!

New Photos

Just thought I'd share a couple of cute photos of the kids that I took today. We headed off to the playground to meet up with Tam and Diesel, and the kids had a ball. I love the shot of Jude cuddling Lana - so cute :-)

Crop For Kids 2008

It's coming up quickly again - only two months away and Crop for Kids is on. Last year I had such a fantastic time, meeting new friends and chatting the day away. This year looks like it is going to be even bigger and better! Can't wait!!

Here are the details :

Event: Crop For Kids All-Day Fundraising Crop
Date: Saturday, 15th March 2008 (the weekend before Easter)
Time: 10am to 5pm
Venue: Springvale City Hall, Springvale, Victoria
Price: Tickets are A$30.00 per person

Group bookings will be available for groups of 8 or more. This not only guarantees that you will sit together, but as an added incentive to book as a group, there will be a special draw on the day for one group to win a small prize. Group bookings must be paid for in one payment, and the payment must be received within 1 month of booking via cheque or direct deposit.

This Week...

Has been a normal week, except I haven't scrapped - not at all! he he.....quite bizarre really.

Today Rohan and I celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, so we are heading out for dinner tonight. And in May we celebrate 10 years of being together, and this is so exciting, we are going to Tasmania for a long weekend - ALONE! I am so looking forward to having some real quality time with my hubby. We love Tassie, and have friends moving there as we speak, so we'll catch up with them and just do the touristy thing - wine tasting, hiking, markets - all that fun stuff. And how lucky are we - Mum and Dad and Danielle & Ben paid for our flights as a pressie - I feel so spoilt! And the kids are going to stay with their grandparents and Auntie Dan and family, so they'll have fun too.

What else...hmmm...I joined the Tony Ferguson weightloss program last week and had my first weigh in yesterday - and I lost 2.3 kgs - woo hoo!! That is great motivation to stick with it, seeing results, but realistically I know the numbers wont be so big from now on, but as long as I keep losing, I don't mind really.

The heat in Melbourne at the moment is stifling. It was only forecast to get down to 30 last night - yuck! So I'm sure everyone is hanging out for this afternoon's cool change.

The new For Keeps annual edition is out now, with all the winning entries for the Awards for Excellence as well as our Elite team entries. Here is one of my favourites out of my entry - all about our house with potential...LOL :

Introducing Bodie

Here he is, the little man himself. Bodie Dennis Ingram arrived in our world yesterday afternoon, and aint he the cutest little thing :-) Our new little nephew is the apple of his parents eyes (of course!) and a new fascination to his cousins. Congratulations Reeze and Nath - he's gorgeous!
